About the Audi Q8
The Audi Q8 is Audi's flagship coupe-SUV, launched in 2018 on the MLB Evo platform shared with the Q7, Lamborghini Urus, Bentley Bentayga, and Porsche Cayenne. It combines full-size luxury SUV presence with a fastback roofline, competing directly with the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe on UK roads. All Q8 models feature standard quattro all-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension, and a dual-touchscreen interior.
The UK Q8 range has included the 45 TDI with a 3.0 TDI V6 diesel, the 55 TFSI with a 3.0 TFSI V6 petrol, and the range-topping RS Q8 with its 4.0 TFSI V8 biturbo producing 600 hp. All models feature the 48V mild-hybrid system (MHEV), which integrates a belt-alternator-starter and 48V lithium-ion battery to reduce fuel consumption and enable mild-hybrid coast-and-glide functions.
